PandaSend vs Claude Code Remote Control
Claude Code includes Remote Control: you hand a running Claude Code session to the Claude app or claude.ai and continue it from your phone. If Claude Code is the only thing you run, it's the obvious choice. PandaSend is for everything else as well. Facts about Remote Control come from public guides to it, linked below, as of October 2026.

One agent, or everything in your terminal
Remote Control is built into Claude Code, so there's nothing extra to install, and it shows Claude Code's own interface on your phone. Its limits come from that design: it covers that one tool, the local process must stay running, and it needs a Claude subscription signed in through claude.ai.
PandaSend works one level down, at the terminal. A Claude Code session, a Codex CLI session, your test runner and your deploy script are all just terminal sessions. You open any of them from your phone, see exactly what's on screen, and get a notification when one is waiting for you. Sessions live in a background process on your computer, so closing a window, quitting the app or losing the phone's signal doesn't end them.
Choose Remote Control if
- Claude Code is all you run from your phone, and you have an eligible Claude plan.
- You want Claude Code's own interface rather than a terminal.
Choose PandaSend if
- You use other agents too, or switch between them.
- You also want your builds, tests, deploys and servers on your phone.
- You want one tool that doesn't depend on any agent vendor.
Questions
What does Claude Code Remote Control need?
Claude Code 2.1.51 or later, signed in with a Claude Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise plan (API keys don't work), and the local Claude Code process must keep running. Team and Enterprise admins enable it in settings.
Why use PandaSend if Claude Code has Remote Control?
Remote Control covers Claude Code sessions. PandaSend covers every terminal session: other agents such as Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Aider or opencode, plus test runs, builds, deploy scripts and dev servers, all from one place.
Can I use both?
Yes. Run Claude Code inside a PandaSend session and you can use either; they don't conflict.
