Questions
Does it work with my tools?
If it runs in a terminal on your computer, it works: builds, test runners, dev servers, deploy scripts, database consoles and any coding agent, such as Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Aider or opencode. There is nothing to install per tool, because PandaSend is the terminal itself.
Some of my tools already have remote access. Why this?
That kind of remote access covers one tool. PandaSend covers every terminal session on your computer at once, from one app, including the many tools that have no remote access of their own. Your sessions stay on your own computer, end-to-end encrypted.
Can the relay read my terminal?
No. Remote traffic is end-to-end encrypted between your phone and your computer with libsodium. The relay only forwards encrypted frames; it never has the keys. How the encryption works.
Do I need Tailscale, a VPN or port forwarding?
No. On the same Wi-Fi your phone talks to your computer directly. Away from home, your computer and your phone both connect out to the relay, so there's nothing to set up on your router.
What happens if my phone loses signal or I lock it?
Nothing stops. The session lives on your computer. When your phone comes back, PandaSend reconnects and shows only what you missed.
What if my computer goes to sleep?
A sleeping computer can't run anything, so your phone will say it's asleep. Keep it awake while agents work: how to keep long jobs running. PandaSend reconnects by itself when the computer wakes.
Can I open a terminal that's already running in Terminal.app or iTerm?
Not yet. PandaSend can reach sessions you start in PandaSend. Taking over a window that's already open in another terminal app isn't supported.
Which devices does it support?
The host app runs on macOS. Your phone uses its web browser, so any recent iPhone or Android works, and you can add it to your Home Screen. Linux and Windows hosts are planned.
How much does it cost?
Using it on your own Wi-Fi is free, with no account. Remote access, to reach your computer from any network, is $4.99 a month or $49 a year per computer, with unlimited phones. It starts with a 14-day free trial, no card needed. If a subscription ends, your sessions keep running and same-Wi-Fi access keeps working.
