## What is PandaSend?

PandaSend is an upcoming iPhone and Android app for sending ebooks from your phone to an e-reader over a local Wi-Fi connection. It also turns web articles into EPUB books. No cloud account is required.

## Does PandaSend work with my Kobo?

The transfer workflow has been tested on a stock Kobo Libra Colour. Connect your Kobo to the phone’s hotspot, open More → Beta Features → Web Browser, and visit the address shown in PandaSend. Other Kobo models have not been individually verified.

## What about Kindle and other e-readers?

Kindle is not supported. Other readers are offered as Beta: they need a browser that can download files and a reading system that can open the format. Compatibility varies by device and firmware.

## Why use my phone’s hotspot?

Some home and guest Wi-Fi routers isolate devices, even on the same network. Your phone’s hotspot provides a direct local connection. Shared Wi-Fi can also work when the network allows devices to communicate.

## Which file types can I add?

PandaSend can import EPUB, KEPUB (.kepub.epub), PDF, MOBI, CBZ, CBR, TXT, RTF and HTML. The e-reader must support the file itself. PandaSend does not remove DRM or convert existing ebook formats.

## Do I need internet or an account?

You do not need a PandaSend account. Sending existing books uses the local network. Converting a web article requires internet to fetch the page and its images. Create the article book before switching to your hotspot.

## How much will it cost, and when can I download it?

PandaSend is coming soon for iPhone and Android. The planned launch price is a one-time US$0.99 purchase, with current features included and no subscription. Final pricing and availability will appear in the app stores. There is no public download yet.

## Can I leave the app while a book is sending?

Keep PandaSend open until the download finishes. The send screen keeps the display awake, but transfers are not designed to continue in the background. A completed transfer means the file was sent; your reader still needs to import and open it.
